CANAMARA is a 501(c)(3) organization that was formed over 20 years ago when local Amateur Radio Operators in Northern New York got together and established the 147.255 repeater. The unique placement of this repeater allowed contacts over a wide geographic area that was unsurpassed.
Our goal is to maintain this valuable resource to provide critical emergency communications in times of need and to be an everyday resource for the Amateur Radio Community. To those ends, we greatly appreciate donations from those who share this goal to help offset maintenance and upgrade costs. No sum is to great or small.
